WCCG 104.5 FM is seeking an energetic, authentic, and engaging On-Air Personality to join our team. The ideal candidate brings charisma, creativity, and professionalism to every broadcast—connecting with listeners on-air, online, and in the community.

This position is responsible for hosting live and pre-recorded segments, delivering compelling local content, and representing the station’s culture both on the mic and in public. On-Air Personalities collaborate with the Production, Promotions, and Sales teams to create meaningful experiences that entertain, inform, and inspire.

You should have a passion for music, community conversation, and social media engagement. While no professional broadcast experience is required, at least one to two years of public speaking, podcasting, or media-related experience is suggested.

Key Responsibilities

On-Air & Production

Host live or voice-tracked shows in alignment with station format and brand standards.

Deliver engaging breaks, interviews, and features that resonate with WCCG’s audience.

Follow station logs, timing, and FCC guidelines during all broadcasts.

Collaborate with the Production Team to create promo spots, liners, and endorsements.

Contribute ideas for show content, segments, and special programming.

Community & Promotions

Represent WCCG 104.5 FM at remotes, live events, and community appearances.

Engage with listeners and sponsors professionally and enthusiastically.

Support promotions, contests, and partnerships developed by the Sales & Promotions teams.

Help build excitement and awareness for station events across all platforms.

Digital & Social Engagement

Maintain an active social-media presence that reflects the WCCG brand.

Post show updates, event highlights, and community content.

Collaborate with the digital team to create video clips, photos, or stories that extend listener engagement beyond the airwaves.

Qualifications

Strong communication and presentation skills with a natural on-air presence.

Enthusiastic, reliable, and comfortable speaking to diverse audiences.

Basic understanding of audio boards and broadcast software (training provided).

Familiar with social-media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).

No prior experience required, but at least one (1) to two (2) years of related experience is suggested.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Competitive hourly pay based on experience
