Job Title : Project Manager – Heavy Civil Construction

Location : Cincinnati, OH

Employment Type : Full-Time

Overview :

We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager with a strong background in heavy civil construction to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure and site development projects throughout the Cincinnati region. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing field operations, budgets, schedules, and client relationships from project start to finish.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the full project lifecycle, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and closeout
  • Coordinate with field teams, superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress, address challenges, and ensure timely, on-budget delivery
  • Maintain detailed job cost tracking and reporting
  • Prepare and manage change orders, RFI responses, and submittals
  • Ensure all work meets contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure clear project communication
  • Support estimating and preconstruction efforts when needed

Requirements :

  • 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil, site development, or infrastructure construction
  • Strong understanding of earthwork, utilities, concrete, grading, and structural scopes
  • Ability to lead field crews and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficient in project management and scheduling software (e.g., HCSS, Procore, MS Project, P6)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience managing public works or municipal projects
  • Familiarity with ODOT or similar agency specifications
  • OSHA 30-hour certification
