RCM Front End Quality Control Auditing Manager

The RCM Front End Quality Control Auditing Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality and accuracy of front-end revenue cycle operations. This role ensures that all pre-billing activities, including patient registration, insurance verification, and coding, meet the highest standards of compliance and efficiency. The Manager will lead a team of quality control auditors, conduct regular quality control audits, and implement strategies to enhance overall performance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Conduct regular audits of patient registration, insurance verification, and coding to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Identify and address discrepancies or issues in front-end operations promptly.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of quality control auditors.
  • Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
  • Analyze audit results and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements.
  • Work closely with front-end revenue cycle staff, including patient access and billing teams, to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate quality control measures into system processes.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and revenue cycle processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • DESIRED / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field
  • Proficiency in Workday, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Athena
