About The Position

Job Title : CT Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : CT Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Must have outpatient experience and IV skills, GE and Toshiba / Canon experience preferred.

License : Must be licensed in radiography and CT.

Certifications : Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography.

Must-Have : Requires BLS from the AHA within 90 days of hire.

Description :

Participates in various assigned tasks related to imaging technology.

Performs diagnostic quality procedures in a safe manner following guidelines set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Computerized Tomography.

Graduate from an imaging technology program approved by licensing bodies is required.

Requires skills in 3D rendering, abdominal imaging, and emergency department procedures.

Knowledge of intravenous pyelograms, radiation safety, and soft tissue imaging is necessary.

Must be willing to work two of three major holidays.

Candidates should have experience with GE and Canon machines.

Documentation of patient care and adherence to safety protocols is expected.

Experience in adult outpatient care and preparation and administration of contrast media is important.

Must be prepared to float to nearby facilities if required.

Comprehensive understanding of imaging procedures and technologies is critical for this role.
