About the Role :
As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Clinic, you will provide direct patient care in line with the established protocols of our healthcare organization. Your responsibilities will include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, communicating vital information to the healthcare team, and assisting in discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities :
Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions appropriately.Act as a primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.Carry out physician and nursing orders efficiently.Assess and plan for patient discharge needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.Engage in rounds with physicians in an inpatient setting.Utilize evidence-based practices to guide patient care tailored to their specific needs.Adhere to professional nursing standards and the ANA Code of Ethics in all interactions.Maintain a safe working environment and perform other duties as assigned.Educational Requirements :
Graduate from an accredited nursing program.Experience :
No prior experience is required.Physical Demands :
Frequent communication, standing, walking, and the ability to lift / carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.Regular use of vision for patient observation and depth perception.Occasional patient lifting / moving and frequent interactions requiring auditory and olfactory skills.Licensure and Certifications :
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Registered Nurse license issued by a compact state or by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.Work Schedule :
This is a full-time position, working a day shift with a commitment of 40 hours per week.
