This position reports to the Data Analytics Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design develop and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure that support our analytics reporting and data science initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data modeling ETL processes and cloud-based data platforms and is enthusiastic about enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What Youll Do

Design and implement scalable data pipelines for ingesting processing and transforming structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.

Build and optimize data models data warehouses and data lakes to support business intelligence and machine learning use cases.

Implement ETL / ELT processes to clean transform and enrich data from structured and unstructured sources.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver high-quality datasets.

Ensure data integrity security and quality throughout the data lifecycle.

Monitor pipeline performance troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.

Collaborate with data analysts data scientists and operational teams to deliver curated datasets and support advanced analytics use cases.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Travel 15%-30% domestically and / or internationally as needed.

Skills / Experience Were Looking For

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field

5 years of experience in data engineering with specific experience in the Azure cloud environment.

3 years of manufacturing or supply chain processes and their interdependencies best practices policies and tools.

Proficiency in SQL Python and working with Azure Data Factory Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Synapse Analytics.

Solid understanding of data warehousing data modeling and performance tuning.

Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills

Must be naturally curious and a result-oriented individual who not only identifies problems but finds solutions.

Provide direction and assist team members through mentoring collaboration and code reviews.
