Electrical and Instrumentation Technician Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

Position Overview

The Electrical and Instrumentation Technician will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical and instrumentation systems. This position involves troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of various electrical and instrumentation equipment in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on PL / 1 programming and controls for manufactured gas applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical equipment and instrumentation tools.
  • Implement and modify control systems for manufactured gas applications.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system efficiency and reliability.
  • Document all maintenance activities and repairs in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with PL / 1 programming and its applications in manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
