Acquisition Support Specialist
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Acquisition Support Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, CA. The Acquisition Support Specialist will provide expert guidance on acquisition strategies, schedules, budgeting, and execution for Department of Defense programs. This role includes developing acquisition plans, coordinating program documentation, and advising on funding and compliance with DoD acquisition frameworks.
Responsibilities of the Acquisition Support Specialist include :
- Advise Program and Project Managers on acquisition strategies, schedules, contracting, and budgeting
- Prepare status reports and coordinate staff meetings and technical interchange meetings
- Develop acquisition plans, schedules, and executive program briefings
- Draft and coordinate program planning and execution documents aligned with DoDI 5000.02 and DoD policies
- Assess contractor design and milestone reviews to evaluate progress, risks, and mission compliance
- Provide program element coordination and monitor funding commitments, obligations, and expenditures
- Support delivery of program funding documentation and monthly financial reports
