NOTE : This is a hybrid role, working at least three days per week at one of our client’s facilities in Urbandale, IA. Remote candidates will NOT be considered for this position.

Aquent Studios is looking for an experienced Java Developer to work on projects for one of our top clients (John Deere) in Urbandale, IA. Candidates should be comfortable working in a paired programming environment and be an excellent communicator. High priority given to soft skills, such as self-driven and taking initiative.

The most important technical skills for this role are Java and AWS.

Must have 3-6 years of experience with the following :

• Java, NodeJS, and Scala
• Product design, test and / or analysis experience
• Hosting services in AWS cloud technologies
• Ability to manage many competing priorities / requests in a fast-paced environment
• Excellence in verbal and written communication forms with tact and negotiation
