Medical AssistantAdministrative Coordinator (Behavioral Health)

Overview : ELFHCC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant Behavioral Health to support the delivery of comprehensive behavioral health services. This hybrid role combines clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure high-quality care and efficient coordination for patients with behavioral health needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist behavioral health providers with patient screenings assessments and documentation of medical and psychosocial histories.
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms; support intake procedures including vital signs and relevant data collection.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and facilitate smooth intake processes.
• Coordinate appointments referrals and follow-ups for patients requiring ongoing behavioral health services.
• Medication prior authorizations referrals answering BH phone line
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Stay current with CPR and basic first aid certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
