Be a part of an exciting product line! Use your advanced knowledge of the hardware engineering discipline, processes, and tools to contribute to the advancement of Honeywell's world-class Radar technologies and products.

As part of our Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CN&S) group, you will contribute to the development of Honeywell's Next-Generation of Aircraft Weather Radar technologies by designing, testing, and / or validating products / processes from prototype to market, with a heavy focus on quality, roll-throughput yield, aftermarket, and factory support.

As an Advanced Hardware Engineer, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the development and delivery of cutting-edge aircraft weather radar technologies, contributing to the safety and efficiency of air travel. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs. You will interact with internal and external customers in order to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute project subtasks (Designing, Testing, etc)
  • Assist in product and process certification for customer acceptance
  • Guide engineers, technicians, and associates to ensure project and product compliance
  • Support obsolescence team in identifying and qualifying alternate parts
  • Draft and release drawing changes in Team Center
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose performance issues
  • Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements by applying advanced electrical engineering
  • Suggest enhancements to advance projects
  • Establish and follow methodologies for new or existing concepts
  • Communicate any non-compliance incidents and results of internal project audits to stakeholders
  • Consult with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance
  • Present to leadership and external customers

U.S. Person Requirements

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
