job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and / or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtain and / or verify patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed M.D. / D.O. Description
Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA, provides the newest medical technology in a healing environment. It is the most comprehensive facility of its kind on the Virginia Peninsula. This short-term acute care hospital with 300 beds is a voluntary nonprofit and a member of Riverside Health System. The hospital features a neonatal intensive care unit with 21 beds and neonatologists located on-site.
