Responsibilities of the Cook :
- Assist with food preparation following established guidelines and direction from the Food Services Manager.
- Prepare meals based on menus created by dietitians.
- Work efficiently to ensure meals are ready on time.
- Understand and document menu substitutions as needed.
- Provide warm, friendly communication with patients, families, and visitors.
- Follow safety procedures when handling equipment and performing tasks.
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain high standards for food quality, cost, presentation, and flavor.
- Collaborate with residents, staff, and vendors.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Schedule Requirements :
This position requires flexibility to work shifts within a 40-hour work week , including :
6 : 30 AM – 2 : 30 PM12 : 30 PM – 8 : 30 PMBenefits :
