Position Summary :
A respected organization is seeking an experienced Sales and Membership Specialist to support membership growth engagement and retention efforts. This position is responsible for generating new member leads managing sales activities and providing outstanding service to existing and prospective members. The ideal candidate is results-driven organized and skilled at building professional relationships within the business community.
Responsibilities and Duties :
Identify prospective members and implement monthly sales plans to achieve membership goals.
Develop a strong understanding of membership levels benefits and value offerings.
Manage the entire sales process including outreach follow-up and closing new memberships.
Achieve established sales revenue and retention objectives.
Maintain and update member data to ensure accuracy and engagement tracking.
Assist in developing member surveys and research tools to assess satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to strengthen member engagement strategies.
Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with members volunteers and community partners.
Lead and coordinate the Chamber Ambassador Program.
Participate in Chamber meetings programs and events to promote membership.
Assist with delayed renewals collections and membership cancellations as needed.
Represent the organization professionally and positively at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications :
College-level education required; degree in Business Management Communications or related field preferred.
Minimum of 35 years of experience in sales business development or membership services.
Proven success in B2B sales and client relationship management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong networking follow-up and organizational abilities.
Highly motivated goal-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
