We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in structural engineering and a passion for creating safe, efficient, and innovative designs. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing structural portions of projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities :
- Design and analyze structural components for buildings, including but not limited to foundations, beams, columns, walls, and slabs.
- Review and evaluate existing structures.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and coordinated designs.
- Review shop drawings, perform site observations, and provide technical support during construction.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (emphasis in Structural)Must have or be pursuing Fundamentals of Engineering license (F.E.)Professional Engineer license (P.E.) preferred but not requiredStructural Engineering license (S.E.) a plus but not requiredExperience in structural design and analysis preferred but not requiredProficiency in structural analysis and design software preferred by not required (e.g., Robot, ENERCALC, STAAD.Pro, or similar)Proficiency in CAD software preferred but not required (e.g., AutoCAD and / or Revit)Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred but not required (e.g., Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations preferred but not required (e.g., IBC, ACI, AISC, AISI, NDS, ASCE, etc.)Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesBenefits :
