Our team is rapidly growing and we are looking to add multiple Construction Inspectors to our team to support our infrastructure projects in GA!
Position Summary
The CE&I Inspector will monitor the work of contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements specifications and quality standards for transportation projects of moderate to considerable addition to inspection responsibilities the inspector may be required to provide inspection / project management under the direction of a Project Manager.

Safety Requirement
For positions involving field work completion of OSHA 10 certification is required as a condition of employment. New hires without current certification must complete the training within two (2) weeks of hire. ICE will provide the training and cover associated costs.
Physical Demands
The role involves moderate physical activity such as walking standing bending and climbing stairs or ladders. Employees may occasionally lift objects weighing up to 80 pounds. It is essential for employees to navigate construction sites skillfully and conduct thorough inspections of materials and structures.
Employees must have the ability to visually discern and differentiate details and colors of objects and proficiency in recognizing sound tone and pitch. Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary. The role demands adaptability to interruptions and changes in workflow as well as the capacity to sit for extended periods. Employees must be capable of working in varied environmental conditions including hot cold and noisy settings and be able to stand and walk during site visits. Additionally working on construction projects may involve night work and weekend work depending on the project scope and may include working in conditions with active traffic.
Expected Hours of Work
The ICE offices are open from 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. Monday through Friday allowing an unpaid hour for lunch daily. Work schedules may vary according to the project schedule - night work and weekend work are required as the schedule demands.
