Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Gallatin, TN 37066 (near Hendersonville, close to Nashville)

Assignment Type : Travel RN Contract

Unit : Med / Surg Telemetry

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026)

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Orientation : Weekly, on Mondays

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Tennessee or compact state)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience

Proficient IV insertion skills required

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

Ability to float to Med / Surg units as needed

Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to start

Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Med / Surg Telemetry unit

Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry readings and changes in patient condition

Perform IV insertions and administer medications using Omnicell dispensing system

Document patient care accurately in Meditech EHR

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Float to other Med / Surg units as required for clinical support

Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff
