Job Details – Georgia Emergency Room RN Travel Assignment

Location : Stockbridge, GA 30281 – Explore nursing jobs in Stockbridge, a vibrant community just south of Atlanta, offering excellent amenities and easy access to city attractions.

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1570 - $1610

Assignment Length : 18 weeks (Start : December 1, 2025 – End : April 6, 2026)

Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 – 07 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Unit : Emergency Department (59 rooms, average 250 visits / day)

Patient Population : Neonates to Geriatrics

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend required

Floating : Yes, as needed

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

Charting System : Epic

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience

Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)

BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required

Experience with Level 3 trauma center or higher preferred

Proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems preferred

Ability to care for diverse patient populations (neonates to geriatrics)

Availability to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled

Full compliance with onboarding requirements prior to start

At least 1 year away from all Piedmont facilities if previously employed as permanent staff

ER RN Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department

Manage a 1 : 4 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 59-room ED

Perform triage, assessment, and ongoing evaluation of patients with trauma, stroke, CHF, STEMI, chest pain, and other acute diagnoses

Administer medications, IVs, and procedural sedation

Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and ventilated patients

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including PT, RT, pharmacy, radiology, and social services

Utilize Epic for charting and maintain accurate, timely documentation

Float to other units as required and participate in rapid response teams

Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
