Job Summary :
This role supports the installation, programming, and maintenance of communication equipment for an industry-leading organization. The technician will work under close supervision and follow detailed instructions to support post-sale services, perform equipment audits, and assist customers in a break-fix environment. The position focuses on mobile and station work related to communication systems for single-site customers.
Key Responsibilities :
Program mobile and portable radios and communication infrastructure
Prepare, organize, and pack radio kits for shipment
Perform data entry in Excel and Word, including barcode scanning
Assist with loading and unloading equipment pallets
Pick and pack radio system parts and kits per specifications
Support inventory management and stock accuracy
Receive and dispatch subscriber equipment
Provide basic PC desktop support and Level 1 system administration
Check and program radios, routers, switches, and desktop computers
Follow standard operating procedures and customer service practices
Required Qualifications :
Associate Degree, Technical Certificate, or equivalent military training
Two years of technical work experience
Familiarity with communication concepts, RF fundamentals, and basic networking
General to intermediate knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting
Ability to operate basic electronic test meters such as DVM, oscilloscope, and wattmeter
Ability to log into computers, update spreadsheets, and work within internal systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Customer-facing experience
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with communication radio equipment
PC help desk or technical support experience
Programming and test equipment familiarity
Networking knowledge

Pay Range : $30 $36 per hour (depending on experience)
