EPIC Application Analyst (CIS Lab)

Description

The Epic Application System Analyst 2 (Lab) - designs configures supports and maintains accurate and efficient Information Services technology applications and programs to maximize organizational performance. Provides technical systems and applications support to FMOLHS facilities and users for Epic systems. Provides ongoing analysis and problem-solving to ensure the integration of technology in effective workflow and process design. The senior level position has advanced knowledge in their field assumes higher level projects and mentors and trains staff members.

Responsibilities

Facilitates Epic vision development solution design standards guidance project scoping IS strategy integration and implementation of efficient high quality technology and applications systems.

Qualifications

Experience -3 years experience as IS System Application Analyst OR 1-year Epic Certified analyst OR 5 years experience in health care clinical or business operations

Education - Bachelors Degree or 4 years experience as licensed health care clinical professional business operations or information systems

Licensure - Attend and achieves applicable Epic education course certification

Working Conditions - Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries Subject to many interruptions Occasional travel Physical Requirements : Frequent use of hands and fingers Good visual and hearing acuity Mostly sedentary work Interpersonal Skills : Good interpersonal / human relations skills Good oral and written communication skills Problem solving and critical thinking skills
