Job Description :

  • Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc)
  • Sorts and organizes freight
  • Operate various types of material handling equipment
  • Sort, repack, and label freight
  • Identify unusable pallets
  • Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
  • Remove items from sorting bins, scan and place onto conveyer belt
  • Remove items from packing bins, scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items
  • Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
  • Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition

Pay Range : $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Pay Scale : Based on productivity

Shifts : Shifts :

Second Shift Saturday to Sunday, 3 : 00 PM Finish

Third Shift Saturday to Sunday, 9 : 00 PM Finish

Job Requirements :

  • 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
  • Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
  • Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ie electric pallet jack)
  • Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
  • Excellent customer service required
  • Overtime / Weekends will be required during peak / seasonal volumes
  • Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler / freezers)
  • Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
  • Standing / climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
  • Effective communication skills
  • Safety shoes are required
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Other duties as assigned
