Chief Inspector

JOB PURPOSE

The Chief Inspector ensures compliance with established standards across various sectors including law enforcement construction aviation and public health. This role oversees inspection teams manages inspection activities and coordinates staff to ensure all duties align with regulatory requirements. Additionally the Chief Inspector ensures that all operations meet the necessary specifications and industry regulations. Reviews and analyzes inspection results identifies discrepancies and implements corrective actions to rectify issues. Examines materials services and products to guarantee they meet specifications and are free from issues. Develops implements and maintains standard operating procedures for inspections and quality control.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Functions :

Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure all inspections comply with relevant industry regulations safety standards and company policies.
• Develop and implement inspection procedures to maintain operational integrity and compliance.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and adjust inspection processes accordingly.
• Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and auditors.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Demands : Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking bending and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting lifting carrying pushing or pulling weight up to 20 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Education / Training : Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering quality assurance aviation maintenance public health or criminal justice) preferred.

Experience : Minimum of 510 years of experience in inspection quality control or compliance roles.
