As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within a shelter environment. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, supporting a welcoming atmosphere, and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do :

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the shelter location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in maintaining order within the shelter by following established protocols and addressing situations as they arise.
• Interact professionally with residents, visitors, and staff to provide information and assistance as needed.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements :

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
