Position Summary :

The Manufacturing Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining the functionality, productivity, and reliability of manufacturing equipment within the production department. This role involves monitoring equipment performance, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring optimal efficiency and quality output.

Essential Functions :

• Monitor Equipment Performance : Ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets quality standards.
• Preventive Maintenance : Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures.
• Equipment Setup and Repair : Set up, fine-tune, troubleshoot, and repair equipment according to manufacturer manuals, wiring diagrams, or technical support guidance.
• Tool Utilization : Use appropriate tools, fixtures, and jigs to complete tasks safely and effectively.
• Safety and 5S Compliance : Adhere to company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment in line with 5S requirements.
• Vendor Communication : Collaborate effectively with vendors and suppliers to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Additional Duties : Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities) :

Education and Experience :

A certificate from a community college or equivalent experience in Electronics, Manufacturing, or a related field is required.
