Responsibilities :

- Provide regular availability for a diverse range of patient assignments.
- Deliver nursing care based on the nursing process, addressing complex psychological, emotional, and social patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
- Document patient histories, symptoms, and the care provided to ensure seamless communication across the healthcare team.
- Assess patient and family learning needs, ensuring effective education and resource identification.

Education : Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.Experience : Minimum of 2 years' experience in Critical Care and an additional specialty (e.g., Medsurg, Telemetry, IMC, or Emergency) required; 5 years preferred.Licenses / Certifications : BLS, ACLS required; RN License in the relevant state or compact; PALS and NRP required for positions at CHRISTUS Children's Hospital.Work Schedule : 7PM - 7AM
