Security Analyst - PingAccess

Description

Analyst within Identity Access Management (IAM) team focused on the expansion of identity federation capabilities. They will be working with customers and IAM team to set up federated environments with customers allowing them rapid access across and outside of the enterprise.

Job duties include

• Onboard third parties to federate, including working with partners to configure and test federations (SAML, WS-Federation) and OAuth / OpenID Connect and schedule for Production deployment
• Assist in designing, configuring, and testing new capabilities ( JIT Provisioning, Identity as a Service, Social Media federation)
• Support and maintain Federation environments

Both individual work and collaborative ( working to help onboard federation partners)

Related to federated identity is single sign-on (SSO), in which a user's single authentication ticket, or token, is trusted across multiple IT systems or even organizations. SSO is a subset of federated identity management, as it relates only to authentication and is understood on the level of technical interoperability and it would not be possible without some sort of federation
