Based in Oklahoma City and reporting into Human Resources, the Workforce Communications Specialist plays a key role in how workload and initiatives are planned, implemented and communicated to frontline team members through our centralized workforce platform. You’ll serve as a connector between departments—simplifying communication, coordinating timelines, and helping frontline teams stay informed and empowered.
Job Functions :
Supporting internal frontline teams and simplifying their day-to-day experience by communicating workload tasks in a clear and concise waDraft and publish mobile-friendly tasks and updates for frontline team members using Love’s workforce appCapture all “tasks” submitted into a centralized portal, write the communication for the tasks, and analyze how the tasks may impact labor efficiency and promote efficiencyPartner with departments to help take workforce initiatives from planning through execution to ensure frontline teams receive clear, timely, and actionable steps via the communication channelTrack initiative progress and outcomes, providing feedback and recommendations and pivoting how and when communication is delivered based on findingsTranslate operational and HR initiatives into step-by-step instructions tailored for field executionAlign messaging with company-wide initiatives, seasonal priorities, and operational timelinesMaintain consistency in tone, formatting, and structure across all workforce communicationsCollaborate closely with the Internal Communications Team to ensure messaging is aligned across platforms and channelsUse workforce platform analytics, task completion rates, and feedback loops to assess communication effectivenessBuild and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize task engagement, completion trends, and operational impactPartner with Workforce Planning and HR Analytics to interpret data and recommend improvementsPresent insights to HR and Operations leaders to guide messaging strategy and workload planningTroubleshoot communication issues and ensure timely resolutionAdvocate for the needs of frontline members by simplifying workload and improving clarityCollaborate with Workforce Analysts to evaluate the labor impact of the proposed workload tasks submitted in the portaTrack and document workload submissions to support accurate labor forecastingEnsure labor-impacting tasks are routed for modeling and staffing adjustmentsExperience and Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Human Resources, Business, or Project Management preferredField operations experience preferred and helpful to understand context of what is being communicated2–3 years of experience in workforce communications, operations, or project coordination preferredStrong writing skills with a focus on clarity, brevity, and mobile-first communicationExperience with workforce platforms or task management tools (e.g. WorkJam , UKG Pro )Familiarity with labor modeling and workforce analyticsProficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools to analyze communication effectiveness and operational impactExcellent interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindsetWhat Success Looks Like at Love’s
