Responsibilities :
Perform and review structural design calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reportsConduct bridge inspections, load ratings, and structural analyses (linear and non-linear)Complete hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for bridges and box culvertsEnsure compliance with quality standards through QA / QC reviewsCommunicate and coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and sub-consultantsParticipate in project planning, cost development, scheduling, and public involvement effortsAct as Project Engineer or Project Manager depending on experienceContribute to project interviews and technical presentations as neededRequirements :
Licensed Structural Engineer in the State of IllinoisDesign experience with IDOT standards for Illinois-based structural projectsLicensed Professional Engineer in Illinois, or the ability to obtain oneBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institutionValid driver's license with a clean driving recordPreferred Qualifications :
NBIS Team Lead certification or ability to earn it for bridge inspection workPhysical Requirements :
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periodsPhysically able to sit, walk, reach, crouch, bend, or stand on uneven surfacesAble to lift and carry at least 30 lbs.Frequent use of hands, fingers, and armsProlonged screen exposure and readingReady to Apply?
