About the Role
They are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer with strong skills in Haas and Fanuc controls . The right candidate will be proficient in mills and lathes , including multi-axis and 5-axis machining , and able to take parts from blueprint to finished product with high accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Program CNC mills and lathes (3–5 axis) using Haas / Fanuc controls and CAM software (Mastercam required; Esprit or similar a plus).
- Perform full machine setups (tooling, fixturing, offsets, workholding).
- Run production and prototype parts, ensuring strict tolerances are achieved.
- Conduct first article inspections and document results.
- Troubleshoot machining / programming issues and optimize cutting strategies.
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and operators to improve processes.
- Mentor junior machinists / operators when needed.
Qualifications
5+ years CNC machining / programming experience .Proficiency with Mastercam for multi-axis / 5-axis toolpaths.Strong experience with Haas and Fanuc controls .Solid knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.Experience in AS9100 / ISO-certified aerospace or high-precision environments .Skilled in metrology and precision measurement instruments.Proven record of meeting tight tolerances and production schedules.Preferred Skills
Experience machining aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel .Familiarity with Esprit or other CAM software.Leadership / collaboration skills; prior mentoring experience a plus.Compensation
