Sales Manager For Ev Charging Solutions
Our client, a well-established European manufacturer of electric vehicle charging solutions, is expanding into the German and Austrian markets. They are seeking an entrepreneurial Sales Manager to establish and grow their EV charging business from the ground up.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven sales professional to shape market entry strategy, build key customer relationships, and eventually lead a growing team. You'll be representing cutting-edge AC charging technology developed in one of Europe's most mature EV markets, bringing advanced software integration and user-friendly solutions to German customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish the company's presence in the German and Austrian EV charging markets from scratch
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategy, identifying priority customer segments and distribution channels
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including property developers, facility managers, installers, and charge point operators
- Achieve sales targets
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closing
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and workplace charging segments
Strategic Planning
Create annual regional strategy plans, sales forecasts, and activity plansEvaluate market opportunities and provide recommendations on customer prioritisationMaintain CRM system with accurate pipeline, customer information, and project trackingProvide regular reporting on sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscapeLay the foundation for building a successful sales organisationMarket Presence & Partnerships
Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and networking eventsDevelop partnerships with installers, distributors, and other channel partnersSupport marketing activities to position the brand effectively in the German marketProvide customer training and ongoing support as needed
