Position Summary : The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role supports residents in achieving their mobility and recovery goals as part of an interdisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy services in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising therapist
• Accurately document daily treatments, patient responses, and progress using systems such as Casamba and PointClickCare
• Assist with discharge planning and family education regarding home exercises or mobility assistance
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility guidelines and policies
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and administrative teams to support quality resident care
