We are actively seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our compassionate and multidisciplinary Inpatient Psychiatry team in Muskegon, MI . This full-time opportunity offers a stable weekday schedule, rotating weekend call, academic engagement, and the chance to work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment committed to holistic mental health care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver comprehensive psychiatric care to adult inpatients in a dedicated behavioral health unit
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in collaboration with a fully staffed care team
- Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds and patient care discussions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in an academic-affiliated setting
- Optional : Pick up additional shifts for extra compensation; explore research, outpatient work, or leadership roles based on interest and departmental needs
