Machine Operator / Extrusion

Job Description :

Location : Doraville, Georgia

CoWorx Staffing Services is looking for Machine Operator candidates in the Doraville, GA area!

This role works with leads and production manager to assure all extruded parts are to specification and monitors all set-up within the area.

Shift : 1st shift 5am-2 : 30pm Mon-Friday

Responsibilities :

Set up and operate all Extruders, kneaders, and batching equipment to meet productivity and quality goals

Prepare for upcoming jobs and perform timely, accurate changeovers

Maintain production documentation and perform quality checks per work instructions

Report safety issues, accidents, and emergency maintenance to supervisor

Maintain a clean and orderly work area; properly store all tooling

Desired Background / Skills :

High School Diploma or GED; proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking)

Technical skills or training in extruding or batching / mixing is a plus

Ability to work safely and take responsibility for the safety of others

Understanding of equipment design, quality standards, and preventative maintenance

Able to operate equipment and tools (forklifts, pallet jacks, Kiln mule, etc.)
