Position Summary
This Facilities Management Project Manager is responsible for a discrete portfolio of projects as called for in the departments yearly operational budget and the Carolina Housing CIP Master Plan. This will include new construction renovation replacement and upgrade projects associated with finishes furniture and branding in Carolina Housing residence halls and office consultation with the Director of Facilities Management for Carolina Housing this position will manage assigned projects from planning and design to bid preparation and purchasing to construction installation and contract completion. The position is responsible for managing assigned projects to help ensure that safety regulations and guidelines remain current and that all projects remain within schedule and designated budgets. This position also works closely with others within the department to turn furnish and update staff and resident apartments. This position works with campus partners (Facilities Services OWRR EH&S etc.) and outside vendors and contractors to manage assigned projects within Carolina Housing facilities. This position also works closely with others within the department to manage and communicate project related building disruptions and coordinate small projects for the Housing Support team.

Monday through Friday 7 : 30 am to 4 : 00 pm ET. Avery Residence Hall Carolina Housing Facilities Office.
