Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused CT Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team in Southern California. You will perform a wide variety of adult and pediatric computed tomography procedures, work closely with radiologists and technologists, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate CT scanners and related equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to departmental protocols and age-specific criteria.
- Prepare and position patients, explain procedures and answer questions to ensure their comfort and understanding.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and department leadership to ensure images meet required diagnostic standards.
- Participate in quality control, performance improvement and other departmental initiatives.
- Serve as a clinical and technical resource for other technologists, providing support, guidance and mentoring when needed.
- Participate in the call / shift schedule and remain flexible to meet departmental staffing needs.
Qualifications : Required :
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.California Radiologic Technologist license (upon hire).BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (upon hire).Within one year of hire : ARRT post-primary certification in Computed Tomography (CT).Preferred :
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging environment performing CT on adult and pediatric populations.Familiarity with advanced CT protocols, pediatric imaging and high-volume imaging centers.Required Skill Sets :
