About the Role
The Company is in need of a Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) to take on a pivotal role in leading all accounting and financial reporting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving transformation within the finance organization, overseeing both GAAP and IFRS reporting, managing audits, and strengthening internal controls. This executive will also play a key part in supporting strategic decision-making through financial analysis, budgeting, and risk management. Additionally, the role involves leading process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives, building a high-performing team, and maintaining close engagement with regulators, investors, and senior leadership. Applicants for the CAO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role at a publicly traded company. A CPA license is required, and an MBA or advanced degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and GAAP, as well as a proven track record of scaling accounting functions in dynamic environments. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential for this role, which is critical in ensuring the financial integrity and compliance of the organization.
