JOB SUMMARY

The Residential Monitor reports to the Assistant Program Director and is responsible for the supervision, managing and monitoring of residents in the Belgravia Center.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide supervision and monitoring of residents.
• Monitor and ensure residents and visitors comply with all program policies and schedules.
• Make written notes / reports to document resident behavior, as per contract requirements.
• Complete multiple security checks throughout shifts including walking the perimeter, monitoring the grounds, documenting rounds, counts, and room inspections on appropriate forms.
• Perform routine pat down searches of residents.
• Quickly respond to incoming telephone calls and visitors or residents at the door / gate.
• Report and appropriately document resident behavioral incidents and / or violations of program policies.
• Perform some filing and other general office duties.
• Perform urine specimen collection and process specimens and documents in accordance with stated and approved procedures.
• Will think and act quickly and efficiently in emergencies.
• Will drive on Agency business.
• Physical presence at the program is required.
