RN - Hospice Home (Part-time, Night Shift) Job Summary :
Hospice of Lenawee, a 5-STAR Medicare.gov rated hospice, is seeking a compassionate Michigan licensed RN for a part-time night shift position in our 8-bed inpatient Hospice Home. The RN will provide personalized, patient-centered care to individuals and their families. We are looking for someone with a genuine calling to support those in the last season of life (hospice experience preferred, but we are willing to train).

RN - Hospice Home (Part-time, Night Shift) Schedule :
Part-time : 1 12-hour primary shift per week with add-on shifts available (days and / or nights)Night Shift : 7 : 00 p.m. - 7 : 30 a.m.Every 3rd weekend rotation and a holiday rotationRequirements
RN - Hospice Home (Part-time, Night Shift) Requirements :
Graduate of an approved School of NursingCurrent Michigan Registered Nurse LicenseBSN degree, preferredCPR certification, requiredFood handler card, requiredTwo years of clinical nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology nursing, preferred; experience in healthcare is requiredExperience with dying patients and their families, hospice experience preferredRN - Hospice Home (Part-time, Night Shift) Duties & Responsibilities :
Provides skilled nursing care based on sound organizational, analytical and problem-solving techniques, and accepted standards of care.Develops a comprehensive care plan that addresses physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs of the patient and family based on input from the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team.Assesses patient and family response to related plan of care interventions.Aggressively advocates for pain and symptom management.Teaches, supervises, and counsels the patient and family regarding care issues.Directs and supervises LPN and Hospice Aide.Assists with patient personal care, laundry, dietary, and housekeeping services as needed.About Us :
