Title : MES Engineer

Job Summary
Wright Technical Services is proud to represent a highly respected Industry Leader for this position. The Corporate Controls MES Engineer will focus on delivering business intelligence services, BI software development, and Power BI reports using our Control Systems, MES, and Power BI platforms. They will support new and upgraded Control System MES functionality at three facilities. Reporting to the Corporate Controls Engineering Manager or a Team Leader, they will collaborate with the team to ensure standards and processes for managing the Control System MES are followed. Mentoring will be provided to help understand the design and standards of the MES.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering related discipline from an accredited college / university is required
- 5+ years working with Manufacturing Execution Systems ( MES ), preferably AVEVA, as a Programmer / Engineer
- Required Technical Experience
Ladder Logic Programming skill within Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix)
Advanced HMI Development (Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE, AVEVA Wonderware Archestra, iFix or Ignition.)Expertise with Microsoft Servers, SQL Server and SQL database systemsExpertise with SQL Server Reporting Services ( SSRS ), SQL Server Integration Services ( SSIS ), and ExcelAbility to write, update and troubleshoot existing SQL queriesPreferred Technical ExperienceExperience with Wonderware (AVEVA) MES and the ArchectrA System Platform
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio C#Experience with Ethernet / IP Communication within a Plant Control SystemExperience with .NET programming environmentExperience with data modeling, visualization, reporting and dashboard within Power BI and / or TableauMicrosoft Power BI Report Server (on-premises report Server) and Microsoft Power Platform (Cloud Based Services, off-premises reporting)Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions ( DAX ) for creating calculationsFamiliarity with data warehouse conceptsKnowledge of ETL processes and data modelingCompetenciesExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
