What You Will Do :

We have an opportunity for a motivated self-directed Environment Health and Safety (EH&S) Manager to support the Aurora Colorado campus including customers and remote locations.

This position offers the EH&S professional an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment to foster employee engagement and drive risk reduction and continuous improvement of the EH&S program.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Recognizing evaluating and controlling hazardous workplace conditions.
• Taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and health of site employees and influence safe behaviors.
• Partnering with site POCs and EH&S subject matter experts to assure compliance including appropriate documentation to prove alignment with federal state local and company EH&S requirements.
• Executing initiatives programs reports and training across multiple EH&S disciplines as required to achieve and maintain compliance.
• Preparing and managing documentation relating to safety and environmental policies in preparation for audits and to ensure compliance.
• Interacting with employees of all levels promoting relationships learning the tasks employees perform and becoming known as a resource to the employees at the Aurora CO site.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of EH&S strategic initiatives that drive continuous improvement.
• Identifying environmental risk and supporting the sites environmental compliance programs including hazardous waste management stormwater and ground-water protection plans air quality permitting wastewater and toxic chemical reporting.
• Leading and developing a small team of EHS subject matter experts to assure compliance with applicable federal state local and company EH&S requirements.
• Maintaining OSHA VPP Star status certification.
• Developing and implementing sustainability practices and programs related to waste water and greenhouse gases in alignment with our long-term goals.

This job is posted as ONSITE and is based at Raytheons Aurora CO facility.

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD - 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education / training and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
