Bookkeeper
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable bookkeeper with strong experience in both QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop (QBD). The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple financial tasks with minimal supervision. This role supports day-to-day accounting, monthly reporting, and overall financial record accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
General Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across QBO and QBD.
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Record bills, invoices, payments, deposits, and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Track vendor payments, outstanding invoices, and client billing.
Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).Generate custom reports as requested by management.Assist with budget tracking and variance reporting.Payroll & Compliance
Process payroll or coordinate with payroll service providers.Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Prepare and support quarterly / annual tax filings (1099s, W-2s, etc.).Other Accounting Support
Manage expense categorization and maintain accurate bookkeeping file structures.Assist with year-end closing and preparations for accountants / CPAs.Maintain organized digital documentation for audit readiness.Support any additional finance or administrative tasks assigned.
