Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a SharePoint Developer who will be responsible for building out a SharePoint site architecture that can house all Corporate Policies and supporting documents for a large logistics customer. This role will assist in designing the new architecture and building out the architecture, that will enable different sites across the US to host site specific SOPs / policies for over 250 different site locations.

Technical skills required :

Main coding languages are .NET, C#, and JavaScript

Integrations through Power Automate / Power Apps if makes sense

HTML, CSS for visual layout design

PowerShell

SharePoint Framework (SPFx)

Pay Rate for this role is between $45-50 / hr.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience with Power Platform and SharePoint site recreation

Expertise in the following coding languages : .NET, C#, and JavaScript

Experience leading integrations through Power Automate / Power Apps

HTML, CSS for visual layout design

PowerShell

SharePoint Framework (SPFx)

Functional requirements :

Automatic document numbering

Potentially create nomenclature that identifies where the process is sequenced within its unique work flow and depict that flow graphically for high level review with hyperlinks for ease of access.

Ability to override automatic numbering (based on permissions)

Potential to use same reference number with addition of specific nomenclature (, language EN, - SP, etc. )

Establish & Refine Permissions Management (downloading / printing / editing / uploading / archiving) Reviewer and approver structure for quality review

Metadata- use if metadata effectively to tag documents with relevant attributes for better searchability

Cross reference internal and external documents (, customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)) in metadata tags

Content types / categories for higher degree of organization

Naming conventions-implement consistent naming conventions for documents and folders.

Create a flexible and easily scalable content type structure

Version Control (track the documents edit history and store previous versions)

Ability to restore obsolete documents / versions

Alerts (set up notifications, workflows and alerts to keep updated on latest version files)

Set review timers to invite authors to verify content or make edits. Some documents will require an annual content review, whereas others may require review more or less frequently.

Co-authoring- allows multiple users to work on a file at the same time.

Document approval / workflow automation with alerts and reporting

Set approval timers to ensure approvers complete in a timely manner (with escalation option)

Business rules for automated or manual approver assignment based on content / site

Automatic notification of document availability for interested parties upon approval

Create graphically appealing and functional user Menu / interface for easy searching

Ability to execute predetermined reports in addition to creating ad hoc reports as needed.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
