MIDB Data Scientist

The Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain (MIDB) is seeking a Research Associate in the Neuroimaging Hub to assist with imaging analysis for MIDB research projects. A successful candidate will have knowledge of a wide variety of advanced statistical and computational techniques, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and be comfortable learning new technologies and consulting with research teams. Essential functions include neuroimaging data analysis, research project and hub support, and documentation and dissemination.

Qualifications include a BA / BS degree plus at least six years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree plus at least four years of relevant experience. Advanced degree or experience in cognitive neuroscience science or other fields with equivalent neuroimaging training is required. Experience in advanced statistical methodology development or applied research in neuroimaging is also required. Proficiency in programming in R, Python, Linux / Bash, and Github is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
