GBC Book Processor / E-Commerce Associate

PURPOSE OF POSITION : To properly sort and or segment assigned donation merchandise according to the sortation criteria. Process media for inclusion in E-Commerce.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Be an instructor in the subject of "work" to all who come to Goodwill for training or job placement assistance. In that, work ethic is more "caught than taught"; you will teach others by your own work ethic and passion for quality .
• Retrieve merchandise from container.
• Examine and evaluate the item against the selection criteria.
• Place the item into the appropriate container, tote box, bushel cart, or box.
• Place non-saleable items into salvage container.
• Relocate the empty duratainer or bushel cart to staging arena and be prepared for next full container.
• Responsible for keeping their workstation in a neat and orderly condition at all times.
• Responsible for the uploading and shipping of E-commerce items.
• Responsible for answering customer emails that come in through Amazon in the required time frame.
• Keep in contact with our representative to help resolve any E-Commerce issues as the information evolves.
• Help to keep track of incoming deposits into the account as well as any refunds.
