About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Senior Manager for Professional Practices Audit. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing professional practices, coordinating work planning activities, and expanding the use of technology and data analytics in the audit process. This role involves serving as a thought leader in internal auditing, ensuring compliance with international standards, and administering the quality assurance and improvement program. The VP, Senior Manager will also be involved in the development and maintenance of the audit universe, optimizing audit processes, and partnering with the internal audit management team to identify opportunities for data analytics and automation. Applicants must have an advanced university degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Master's degree, and professional certification such as CIA, CPA, CA, or CISA. A minimum of 3-5 years' professional practices experience or 7+ years in audit or control functions is required. The role demands extensive knowledge of risk-based audit methodologies, project management, and excellent communication skills. The VP, Senior Manager will be expected to have a solid understanding of the audit and banking / financial industry, and its associated risks, and to be adept at training and developing staff in line with the IIA competency framework. The position also involves regulatory liaison, and the candidate should be prepared to represent the audit function on critical bank committees and projects.
