Be a part of the pre-opening team for theOmni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel!

Opening Fall 2025 theOmni Ft. Lauderdale Hotelis a 29-story hotel located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites multiple restaurants a vibrant rooftop bar a sprawling pool spa and fitness center. The hotel will also have over 120000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space including a grand ballroom junior ballroom 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views.

The Ibis Bartender will be responsible for providing efficient friendly customer service at all times and to maintain a clean professional top-quality bar.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• To follow enforce comply and adhere to all Omni rules policies procedures standards and recipes at all times.
• To properly set-up and maintain a clean efficient bar throughout the shift.
• Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
• Take orders and answer questions / offer suggestions on both food and beverage menu selections and daily specials.
• Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes.
• Familiarity with the wine list and the stemware and appropriate garnishes used.
• Follow procedures as outlined in employee manual and bartenders manual. Jigger pour making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros.
• Ensure the consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails.
• Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws.
• Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order and adhere to cash handling standards.
• Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.
• Present accurate check to guest and process payment.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
• Polish and clean the water glasses in his / her assigned station before opening hours.
• Station set-up and breakdown / side-work.
