Ophthalmic Technician St. Petersburg, Florida

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ophthalmic Technician to join this team. The ideal candidate will have experience in ophthalmology. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality eye care to patients and demands a dedication to excellence in clinical practice. Responsibilities :

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including obtaining medical histories and performing initial testing.
• Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Open and close the diagnostic area; maintain equipment and rooms in working condition.
• Perform diagnostic tests as per the physicians orders including but not limited to visual field testing OCT testing fundus photography external photography and corneal topography.
• Timely accurate and efficient transfer of test results into electronic medical records.
• Conduct refraction and assist in other diagnostic procedures as required.
