Care Manager / Social Worker

There is an opportunity for a registered social worker, occupational therapist or mental health nurse to join our busy and dynamic community team. Working as a care manager you will work with an identified group of clients providing assessment and treatment within an MDT setting as well as working autonomously. There are opportunities to facilitate groups and clinics as well as training in a variety of talking therapies.

We are a group of highly trained professionals who work closely with various Non-Government Organisations to improve health outcomes for the population we serve. Our team covers Central and Northern suburbs of Wellington so we see a wide variety of people. There are various training opportunities to develop your skills and professional development.

Moū – About you

The successful applicant with have a background of working with people who experience severe and enduring mental health issues, be solution focused and enjoy a challenge!

• You must be able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously and have a driving license.
• Will be a registered social worker, occupational therapist or mental health nurse and hold a current annual practicing certificate.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with therapies such as DBT / CBT / ACT will be advantageous
