We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor / Manager to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This is a contract to hire position that requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong background in managing accounts payable processes. The role involves overseeing invoice processing, ensuring timely approvals, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise and manage the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Process approximately 150 invoices weekly and oversee approval procedures across multiple centers.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to address outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Execute weekly check runs and automated clearing house (ACH) transactions.
• Ensure invoices are accurately coded and entered into the financial system.
• Provide exceptional customer service while managing vendor relationships and inquiries.
• Utilize Financial Edge software to streamline accounts payable operations.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial processes and reporting.
