I.  SUMMARY

We are looking for a Data Analyst with a passion for technology and data-driven decision-making to join our team. In this role, you will analyze complex datasets related to industrial operations, develop insightful reports, and contribute to the enhancement of our Machine Vision AI safety technologies. Your work will be pivotal in helping our clients improve safety and operational efficiency in their day-to-day activities.

II.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data Collection and Management :

Gather and manage data from multiple sources, including machine vision systems, operational databases, and external maritime data feeds.

Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for safety improvements within maritime operations.

Support the development and implementation of data analytics tools and systems.

Identify and implement process improvements for data collection, analysis, and reporting workflows.

III.  QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the industrial technology sector.

Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

IV.  WORKING CONDITIONS

A.     Travel Requirements

The role may require travel from time-to-time to customer sites. Trips will likely require overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.

B.  Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to perform general physical exertions, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting materials or equipment.

C.  Work Environment

Periodically may be required to go to marine terminal, construction site, mine site.
